How an evening at Fogos works
No long list of choices, just a table full of flavour. You sit back, we keep it coming.
Over charcoal
The meat turns constantly over the charcoal fire, so it never burns and needs no added fat. We season with Celtic sea salt.
Carved at your table
Our gauchos serve the meat and fish at your table and carve thin slices each time, so you can taste every cut of the evening, cooked the way you like.
Salads as you like
A wide choice of homemade salads, roast potatoes and sauces, also served at the table and also unlimited. Vegetarians get a separate dish of warm vegetables and meat substitutes.

A tradition from the pampas
Churrasco is a centuries-old tradition from Rio Grande do Sul. The gauchos, cowboys of the southern Brazilian pampas, planted skewers of seasoned meat in the ground beside a big fire and kept carving off the outer slices. Around 1900 the first churrascaria opened.
